How will u know and ex bf still likes you???

me & my ex talk alot on the bus, but we got into it monday and he said he was dateing someone but he wasent cause he asked my best friend out then we started talking again wednesday and he kept reading my note book that said i love s.o.s and he was reading it i said what are ui doing he said im reading your notebook well it isent mine its my friend's. and ever time i turned away he kept saying stuff behind my back and when i turned around he'll smile about it, then like yesterday i saw him in the hall way and he smiled at me and im like stop doing that your makeing me laugh, and then some boy is like will u date her i said no then he said no, then i went to get a drink and that boy said he told kevin some stuff that i liked him alot and he said kevin dident say anything, but after that kevin came out of the bathroom and looked at me and walked on.... does he like me or not? help me out what should i do?
