I have the choice of using a Geforce 9400 GT (512mb) or a radeon 2600 XT (256mb). All i play is medieval 2?

All i play is Medieval 2 Total War and perhaps will move onto Empire Total War if they fix the amount of bugs. I am told that these numbers dont mean much, but the Windows Index gives me a lower score with the Geforce.
