Constipation please read?

I'm a 15 year old boy and Ive had constipation for about 6 days. A few days ago my was stomach started hurting on my right side next to my hip bone when I pressed it. Then it stopped hurting. And now the pain is back but only when I press it. Ive been taking laxatives and got a little better. I was thinking it was appendicitis but I doubt it is. Does any one how long until I get better. PLEASE. Or should I go to the doctor.
